Definition

In corporate finance, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economic_Value_Added">Economic Value Added or EVA</a> is an estimate of true economic profit after making corrective adjustments to GAAP accounting, including deducting the opportunity cost of equity capital.
