Definition
This measure compares actual to planned weekly sales by SKU (stock keeping unit) and by shipping location. Forecast accuracy is tracked weekly. The measure reflects the confidence with which the demand forecast represents actual demand. It is a measure of actual sales by detailed SKU by week by ship from location, within a prescribed a tolerance specific to each SKU, for a period forecasted “n” periods earlier.
