Inventory Record Accuracy

Definition

The intent of this measure is to ensure that all (COMPANY) physical inventories match those recorded in the inventory records. To aid in this process and measure, plants, distribution centers and warehouses utilize cycle counting to monitor the effectiveness of the inventory processes. Bulk locations are counted using plant defined physical inventory methods. All materials or locations are counted at a minimum of once per year.
