Definition
The total cost associated with the activities and effort of converting a lead (potential customer who has enquired about a product or service) into a customer. This would include all costs such as product demonstrations, wining & dining, sales staff time, and so on. It would be useful to companion this KPI with another similar one, for those who had decided not to become a customer.
